Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Colbert and O'Reilly go head-to-head:
O'Reilly breaking away for a commercial and mentioning Colbert will be up next: "for those of you that don't know him, hide the children" and a photo of Colbert with a "Hide the Children" caption.
O'Reilly's an asshole.

Colbert didn't miss a "Colbert Beat", it was like watching The Colbert Report

There was such obvious tension in the interview. After the first 2 minutes the interview was totally dumb. Colbert let O'Reilly get like 11 words in.
Round 1 goes to Colbert, although he wasn't great.
I hope for Colbert to ask O'Reilly the tough questions in Round 2.

lol It was definitely fun to watch. I thought O'Reilly wouldn't allow Colbert to be in character on his show...Colbert did anyway. Made O'Reilly look like an idiot.

What is with O'Reilly and France? Jeez. Get off it.
I'd like to ask O'Reilly this: "You are the king of boycotting. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi. Why don't you tell your followers to boycott Saudi oil?"
That alone is why O'Reilly is disingenuous.

Yeah, this whole France thing is just for ratings. Going after someone because of their nationality is xenophobic, and from an ancient type of logic that most thoughtful people this century would discredit.
Of course, I'm on the west coast...so I have to wait an extra long time before I can see O'Reilly on the Colbert Reporrrr. Hopefully it's on Youtube pretty soon.
