Coulter calls Democrats a "sleeper cell"

A few months back, a conservative that visits this site on a regular basis signed me up for the Ann Coulter weekly newsletter.  Instead of unsubscribing, I just took it as a joke and never got around to taking action.  Today, just for the heck of it, I decided to open the link to her latest column.

Even though I agree that writing about Ann Coulter only boosts her search ranking and maybe her sales, this column it just too difficult to not comment about.  The title reads, "The Democratic Party: A Vast Sleeper Cell."  The entire column pretty much is a laundry list of examples throughout history when liberals have wanted for America to be defeated.  At one point, she even accused Democrats of "inventing Watergate."  The whole thing was revisionist history.

This is my last chance to make this one point since I never plan to write about her again.  As an 18-year-old that stood atop the World Trade Center exactly three months to the day before it was hit, nothing ticked me off more than listening to Ann Coulter accusing all liberals, including myself, of being terrorist sympathizers.  So, okay, I grew up a little since then.  Today, I consider her one of the funniest people next to Stephen Colbert.  Many say that Colbert modeled himself after O'Reilly.  But I think Colbert's character is a fusion of the two.  Here are some excerpts from the column.  Please, just try to find humor in this:

"Fortunately for liberals, the Iraqis executed Saddam Hussein the exactsame week that former President Ford died, so it didn't seem strangethat Nancy Pelosi's flag was at half-staff."

"..Saddam's death made it less of a snub when Harry Reid skipped Ford's funeral."

"The passing of Gerald Ford should remind Americans that Democrats arealways lying in wait, ready to force a humiliating defeat on America."

"Liberals spent the Vietnam War rooting for the enemy and clamoring forAmerica's defeat, a tradition they have brought back for the Iraq war."

"..American liberals, eager for the communists to defeat America."

"..we promised South Vietnam that we would resume bombing missions and provide military aid if the North attacked.  It would have worked, but the Democrats were desperate for America to lose."

"In lieu of the old Democratic Party, which lost wars out ofincompetence and naiveté, the new Democratic Party would lose wars onpurpose."

Okay, okay, I'm sorry.  There is still one-fourth of her article left.  But I won't you through any more.  Ann Coulter will be officially be retired from this web site.  If for some reason I have to report her, I will refer to her as AC (not to be confused with Anderson Cooper).

Ugh, sometimes I cannot believe the accusations this woman makes. It reminds me of school children throwing out insults to one another that are completely exaggerated and don't have any grounds in reality.

Looking at the sum of her accusations, do they have any sources? Is it even plausible to think sources are even a factor regarding her comments? If you ask, for example, where she gets the idea that liberals are looking for communism to enter America, can she really formulate an argument outside of simply becoming more hostile?

I really look at this woman and am amazed how someone can be so filled with hate. Her complete and utter disdain for 50% of the American people is a clear indication that she has no right representing Americas.

Recognizing Coulter on any level is a waste of time. She is what she is. There is no quote that you could even make up that would surprise me or even interest me.

Sometimes I think she is really just a liberal who is smart enough to seize the opportunity to make a ton of cash off the fringe right, and mainly fox news watchers. She's more of a cartoon character than anything.

I'm not sure anyone "really" likes her, even the most conservative far right wingers. MAYbe, just MAYbe ... Michael Savage. She really is a waste. I picture her to have grown up on one of those White Supremist compounds.
