Here are the miscellaneous politicalstories thatmight not be worthy of their own posts, but are still news-worthy.  Be sure to check out The Blue State on Youtube, which is located under "Menu."  It includes all of the political videos that are featured on this site:

• The jury in the Scooter Libby trial is off for the weekend as of 2 PM ET today, and will start deliberating again next week.
• President Bush told Gulf Coast citizens yesterday that it's time to "unstick" the problems that plague the region: "If it is stuck because of unnecessary bureaucracy, our responsibility at the federal, state and local level is to unstick it."  (He sure has a way with words.)
• Hey '08 candidates, forget about health care.  According to the latest CBS News Poll, health care is the number one domestic concern for voters.  Also, 55% favor universal health care for all adults.
• Democratic House leaders want U.S. troops out in six months if Iraqis do not keep their commitments.
• Two GOP lawmakers are being investigated for trying to influence a federal investigation into a Democratic state senator.
• Both Obama and Clinton will give speeches in Selma, AL to commemorate the 1965 civil rights march there.
• Both Obama and McCain said U.S. lives were wasted in Iraq.  (Gee, I wonder who got blamed more.)
• Maj. Gen. George W. Weightman, the commander at Walter Reed, has been relieved of his post.
• NYT Poll: 23% approve of Bush's handling of Iraq, 29% approve of the way Bush is handling his job in general.
