(Video) ACU Chairman refuses to condemn Coulter's comments

American Conservative Union Chairman David Keane -- whose group hosted the dinner where Ann Coulter made homophobic remarks about a happily married presidential candidate -- danced around the issue on Sunday when asked if he would condemn her comments.

Unbelievable!  What Coulter said was one of the most off-the-wall, hateful comments we have heard in a long time.  I guess it is just too difficult for Keane to say, "You know, she was wrong; and my group, which I am in charge of, was embarrassed by her.  I am sorry for what it has caused":

KEANE: "Whether it was inappropriate or not is something that people that listen to entertainers have to judge.

HOST: "Do you think she needs to apologize for anything?"

KEANE: "That's between her and the folks she takes digs at."

Simply amazing.  Again, it was his event!  Why is he so afraid to condemn Coulter?
