(Video) Two conservatives vs one semi-liberal on Fox News
This is your typical debate on the Fox News show HANNITY & colmes. They bring in a conservative guest to make it two conservatives vs one liberal. The two conservatives then use that chance to take cheap pot shots at anyone that disagrees with them, while the semi-liberal colmes just sits there and takes it. Last night, former Cheney aide Mary Matalin joined the debate:
HANNITY: I will tell you what is outrageous, Mary. And that is stabbing our troops in the back, slow bleed, cutting off their equipment, and emboldening our enemies, and having a policy of retreat and defeat -- that is outrageous. Good to see you, Mary.
Actually Sean, it is this Administration that is sending our forces into battle without the proper equipment. The reported about it this disgrace last January.
I say this all the time about Hannity...he brings on guests that agree with him on an issue, then fires his "starting gun" and let's them do all the dirty work. His comments are usually restricted to "yes or no, answer the question", "that's weak", "that's a croc" etc. etc. etc. Whenever someone comes back at him with a truthful, factual, intelligent response or statement, he defaults to his "bullyism" ways. In my opinion he isn't "all that informed" on the issues he speaks on. The other thing I have mentioned before is when Hannity is interviewing a truly evil person, I find myself "rooting" for the bad guy....I quickly catch myself and bring things back into perspective, but that's the effect Hannity has on me.
My list of similar people: Sean Hannity, Mary Matilan, Mike Savage, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Dick Morris, Bill Kristol.
And Alan Colmes should go back to the Veterinarian and get his balls back. He needs to SPEAK LOUDER with these jackasses.

"Retreat and defeat..." The fact that it seems that most pro-Iraq war Republicans try to sum up their positions on Iraq with slogans just makes them lose the ounce of credibility they would have if they were to use logic and reason in their arguments, instead of reducing everything down to simplistic lines.
Making something rhyme does not give it credibility.
"Emboldening our enemies" is another line I can't stand.

Exactly, Steve. When the most important decisions in our country get reduced to 5-second nursery rhymes, you know that we need some change.
