National Daily News Catch-Up

MccainThe "Sometimes" Straight Talk Express: JohnMcCain angered his loyal Straight Talk followers. When asked about his thoughts on Gonzales,McCain said "ask me on Wednesday" where he exposed his thoughts on a pre-taped Larry King interview. He did reveal his thoughts to Mike Allen of Politico.com, and Mike asked why he hadn't mentioned this, McCain replied  (The Politico, which quoted him as saying), “I reached that conclusion a long time ago. I just haven’t been asked.” Straight Talk alright, straight right out of the side of his face.

The live blogging of the debate took time away from the National and International News Catch-ups. We should be back on schedule tomorrow. We apologize for any disappointment this may have caused.

Ugh. I hate McCain. Despise him with a passion! He's been talking out of his rear end for years, people are just NOW starting to see it.

What still jolts me is the picture of him presenting Bush with cake while New Orleans drowned. The man just has no shame...and it makes me sad to see someone who was really once a great politician and person sink to such depths of depravity.

A surprising poll was put out in the Arizona Republic online (www.azcentral.com), which is our main rag in the Phoenix area, that asked:

"If McCain were to run for President today, would you vote for him". Coming from usually pretty red state, I was pleasantly, and sadly at the same time, surprised to see that over 60% of the respondants said No.

There is no way he takes the Primary.

Disillusioned, my take is he's simply nuts. He really does acts and speaks like a crazy person.

I think that selling out every principle you once stood for to a man you despise for the hope of a future power position will tend to do that to you.

I would have a hard time keeping my sanity as well. The "Bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran" thing practically killed him out here. It was *the* topic of the day on all the AM radio stations. You know you're toast when even the wingers are questioning your mental health. Heh!
