Photo: Conservative site suggests Osama is an Obama supporter
This is now bordering on . One month after we heard Fox News boss compare Barack Obama to Osama bin Laden, you would have thought these uniquely personal attacks would have faded into the sunset by now. Now, it looks more and more like this will be the tactic that conservatives use against Obama during the general election, should he make it that far.
As first exposed by , the popular conservative web site Townhall.com features an ad that shows Osama bin Laden holding an Obama 2008 bumper sticker. The ad brings you to Townhall.com's . Here is a look:
It is truly fascinating that Barack Obama is still an optimist after all the disgusting attacks that have been thrown his way.

Totalitarians, not Communists. Communism is a term that is routinely misused by many people. Karl Marx used the term Communism to be the utopic government style of politics after the forms of Capitalism lost to the forms of Socialism. Stop the Red Scare. It just sounds silly to still be using these preconceived notions about Socialism and Communism without regard to the historicity and theoria-matter of either, and just espousing propaganda. Communism has never been fully realized, because Capitalism still exists--very much so. Only forms of Socialism exist alongside Capitalism.
Socialism = economies in which the means of production and distribution are collectively held so that the goods and services that people need are provided and equitably distributed.
Communism = all goods would be communally owned; people would not work for wages but rather would give according to their abilities; and there would be no scarcity of goods and services, allowing people to receive whatever they needed. In addition, the state would become less important and its role would dwindle.
According to these criteria, and this are very accurate of Karl Marx, nations that were once commonly referred to as communist during the Cold War were actually socialist. Yeah, what a horrible economy that would be. Bush likes to say "God is on our side," but I'm still having trouble believing Jesus, the great philosopher he was, would have been a capitalist and not a socialist.
