Soldiers Behaving Badly
Here are a few videos I put together of some of our troopsbehaving badly. This is not the way the world should see us. I am sure these areisolated incidents, however they are making their way onto the internet daily. I was an MP in the Army during peace time, and I would like to believe that any mischief I would have participated in wouldn't have included children or dogs. I did not post any of the videos where soldiers were engaged or recently engaged in combat, the way soldiers behave due to adrenaline rushes and psychologically is beyond anything I or most of us can understand or criticize.
Iraqi Kids Run for Water- In a country where water is precious, this was just a wrong display of diplomacy.
U.S. Soldiers Cut Gas Cans - I understand gas needs to be regulated, but it's the way they do it. And some of these people are the ones we want to "like" us.
Priceless Iraqi Car- Did they really need to make fun of this guys car and embarrass him in from of his family?
Humvee Traffic Driving in Iraq - Although this way of driving is probably a necessity for survival, and not bad behavior, how would you feel about being bumped off the road?
Poor Stray Dog in Iraq Being Teased by Soldiers- Most people toss a stray dog half a sandwich, or try and find it's owner
I think the site looks really sharp these days. Great job whoever is doing it...despite the typepad constraints.
(Can you fix the link from the stats box though?)

THanks, George. We tend to get around 1,000 or 1,200 per day to this site. Once this site gets up around 5,000 or 6,000 per day, then I'll make the stats available for everyone to see. At the moment, I'm just kind of embarrassed because this site should be doing a lot better in terms of traffic.
Erick, who wrote his thesis on mass media (on attracting visits from google) will be put in charge of helping us attract more hits. For a project at school, he built a web site and increased its traffic from 500 to over 100,000 per day within one semester. So yeah, he is the go-to guy for that.
