Layout & Logo

It's not that I'm not grateful for an easy-to-update service, but I miss the days of Blogger.  Todd uses Typepad, so that's what we have to work with.  There's little I can really do to alter the formatting in an innovative way so I tried to take a more stylish approach to the logo and layout.

New logo.  New layout in theory - smaller sidebars, more content, more organized.  Two days of posts on the main page, the rest you can get to by the calendar on the left or by the weekly archives.

The slogan - "Progresso politico," in case you're new to 5th grade - is "Progressive Politics" or even just "Progress Politic" depending on the language to which you source the phrase.

I'm sure it will be altered and manipulated to accommodate the evolving site, but that's the only real change for now.  I made a small logo we might use later that I thought was amusing.  From time to time you'll see me shorten the site name just to call it "The B.S."  Lots of opportunities to brand it:

"The B.S. politics you long for."

"All the B.S. you can handle."

On and on until I get a $50 gig at a lounge club telling puns.

Anyway...no political contribution from me today, just a simple graphical update.

Oh...did anyone else think Season 5 of The West Wing was absolutely unbearable?  I've been traveling all weekend and just discovered TWW about a month ago.  Hit Season five on Friday and wanted to kill myself.
