(Video) Fox News journalism 101

Many of the Fox News hosts spend segment after segment complaining about how the media glorifies sex, Hollywood and materialism -- which most reasonable people would not disagree with.  Although, Fox is just as guilty as the other networks.  Instead of focusing on the war in Iraq and all the other important issues facing our country, last night host Bill O'Reilly was reduced to this.

I made this montage:

Not the biggest deal in the world.  But is it just me, or is the only time Fox News ever covers a real story when there is a potential for an anti-liberal wedge opportunity?  Their spinsters probably had the night off.

A few nights ago Bill O was doing a segment on child porn. He was asking questions over and over again as if he wanted the "low down" on the legality of it. It was pointed out that "viewing" child porn is legal, downloading and printing is not. It was almost as if was was making sure what could be done to view porn. He also kept showing the clips over and over again. A viewer wrote in the next day pointing out the showing of the clips and believe it or not, O'Reilly agreed with the viewer.

Making a more general remark here, about Fox "news". I caught a glimpse of Tucker Carlson today - Tuesday, April 6 - spinning out a fabrication of what he would like you to remember as remarks made by Barack Obama about campaign money. They were not made by Obama. They were made by Tucker Carlson. See if you can catch the video. It's a pretty good look at the spinning process in action. A remarkable conglomeration of shouting, noisey talk-over, body antics and extrapolation that end up suggesting to the viewer that the person in question (in this case Obama) actually said those things. Really kind fo scary.

Thanks, Granny. I will try my best to look for it. :)
