Blue Radar

As I post each morning, here are some of the political stories thatmight not be worthy of their own posts, but are nonetheless newsworthy:

  • In an exclusive interview with the Associated Press, John McCain said Americans should cut the President some slack on Iraq for not having a Plan B.  "I believe that General (Dwight) Eisenhower didn't have a Plan B atNormandy, and I don't think that General (Ulysses S.) Grant had a planB when he decided to take Richmond," McCain said.
  • During a commencement speech at West Point, Dick Cheney criticized what he hinted to be the pointlessness of the Geneva Conventions.  "Capture one of these killers, and he'll be quick to demand theprotections of the Geneva Convention and the Constitution of the UnitedStates," the Vice President said. "Yetwhen they wage attacks or take captives, their delicate sensibilitiesseem to fall away."
  • There is direct evidence that the Justice Department worked with the White House to install former Rove aide Tim Griffin as a replacement for a fired U.S. Attorney in Tennessee.  The question is whether Rove himself was involved?  Thanks to some documents released this week, there is now email evidence that Griffin did contact Karl Rove.  We just don't know if Karl Rove emailed back.  Leahy's Judiciary Committee is still digging!
  • President Bush was warned twice by the CIA before the war began thatdemocracy in Iraq would be difficult and that Al Qaeda would establish a basethere.  This was confirmed by a report declassified by the Senate Intelligence Committee on Friday.
  • Ron Paul is the most in-demand Republican presidential candidate, according to Eventful.com, which allows its users to make a request for high-profile people to visit their city.  Barack Obama leads all Democrats.
  • As of now, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards have refused to participate in the Fox News debate this September.  This is a tough move because it is being co-sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus.  According to the New York Times, a spokeswoman for Bill Richardson said this week that the New Mexico Governor would not participate in the debate.  Then a few hours later, the spokeswoman quickly retracted the statement.  So, at the moment, Richardson is still unsure whether to participate.  It is a slippery slope.  The Democrats despise Fox news, but don't want to offend the Black Caucus.
  • CBS News: 49% plan to vote for the Democratic candidate in 2008, while 33% say they will likely vote for the Republican candidate.
  • Ron Paul will appear on the Colbert Report on Wednesday, June 13th.

If we left anything out, feel free to add any stories in the commentbox.

"Cynicism and defeatism are NOT options to be entertained.
We are in the eleventh hour of losing this Nation..."

Consider the only Conservative Presidential Candidate...

Hello and Welcome my name is: Joel Lemieux I am retired and currently live in the beautiful mountains of Western, NC... I have been an avid supporter of Dr Ron Paul... "We have to get Ron Paul elected, firstly and foremost, in the primaries"... Then on to the Presidency!!!

http://leadership2008.bravehost.com

However, if this is to come about (Ron Paul 2008) we will require a war chest... We are attempting to get (1) one Million people to send Ron Paul only $7.00 each per Month... If you have any ideas as to how we might bring this about please communicate with me and perhaps we may structure a "Nationwide" forum (starting at the County level) of like minded patriots... Thanks... Joel... freedom@switchisp.com

Meanwhile Consider The Following:

Our Only Choice!!! Leadership 2008

Can Ron Paul Win? On The Issues - A Resounding YES!

Knowing this let us then look at the most important benefit… that Ron Paul brings to the Presidency...

"Leadership"

Leadership is Action Through *Example Not Position...

(It is not a position of power nor being in the right place at the right time, neither define leadership).

It is defined by setting the example through taking action on such Leadership Traits as Truthfulness! Honesty! Fidelity!

Ron Paul Has Acted Admirably On All These Leadership Traits:

“Truthfulness” first and foremost… Then: Principle, Integrity, Honesty,* Fidelity (to their oaths), Honor, Virtue, Compassion, Courage, Vision, Wisdom and Faith.

DARE TO COMPARE

Can anyone bring forth any other candidate (GOP or DEM, etc.) that can lay claim to all of these characteristics?

I believe we are all hard pressed to do so... “Strike That”. I "KNOW" we ARE hard pressed!

Check out this site it may give you some promo assistance... It has a promo area where everything can be printed out for free... It also has "send to friends" area for e-mailing... Hope this helps you ...

Get the word out "SHARE" with your friends... And don't forget the $7 per Month "we all can afford that" remember each of us do not need to get thousands of people... just set a weekly goal and have any/all of your friends duplicate your efforts... It will be persistence and perseverance that will elect Ron Paul...

PS: Start with flyers at the Universities put one on each and every bulletin board on campus also look for support from the student GOP... Then have them go to other campus's... Also, don't forget High School Seniors - by the time elections roll around they will be old enough to vote! Good Luck… And may our efforts be blessed…

lol Isn't it amazing that a Republican would want to advertise on a site visited mostly by Democrats? It shows how off-track the Republican Party mainstream has been getting these last few years.
