Hillary Clinton drops to third in Iowa

Here are the results from the latest Des Moines Register Poll of likely Democratic Caucus voters in Iowa:

John Edwards - 29%
Barack Obama - 23%
Hillary Clinton - 21%
Bill Richardson - 10%

Everyone else 3% or Lower

Compare this to a Zogby survey released last week that put Clinton in second with 24%, with Obama close behind at 22%. 

John Edwards finished in first place in both polls.  The former North Carolina Senator knows that he may not have the funding to keep up with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton if he loses Iowa, which is why he is putting almost all of his resources into that first contest.  The AP recently acknowledged the Edwards strategy by citing that his campaign has yet to hire a paid political staff in California -- one of the many larger states competing on February 5th.

Back to Iowa.  For the first time in 42 years, Democrats in that state hold the House, Senate and Governor's office.  This is a state that Bush won in 2004 by just 10,000 votes, and Gore won in 2000 by only 4,000 tallies.

One last point.  Bill Richardson is surging fast in Iowa, and even possibly taking votes away from Hillary Clinton.  The New Mexico Governor, now at 10%, spent the weekend campaigning in some of Iowa's smaller towns.  "We have a lot of good candidates running for president," he told a crowd.  "A lot of them could be in the White House - as myvice president."  Richardson has also reached double digits in New Hampshire, only five points behind Edwards for third place.

Hillary Snubs GLBT Activist's
On Sunday May 20Th, Hillary was making the Rounds in South Florida, or was she?

While The Florida Black Caucus was meeting in Jacksonville, the Small County Coalition was meeting in Gainsville the GLBT Democrats were meeting in Sarasota.

The most influential democratic GLBT leaders were meeting in Sarasota. on May 18,19 and 20Th as were the others, Back Democrats and the Fly Over Counties. The Florida GLBT Caucus had invited Hillary to attend a Coffee on Sunday May 20Th, which was more than feasible for her schedulers, seeing how she would be in New Orleans on Saturday May 19Th and could be in Sarasota Before going on to A fundraiser in Parkland.

Here was her Schedule instead, she went to a Coffee in North Broward, then on to Parkland then on to a Dinner in Fort Lauderdale, all of these events were for the Insiders of Broward and the Wealthy, while the Hillary camp were snubbing the hard working activist of the Democratic Party the Black Caucus The GLBT Caucus and The Small Counties.

Speaking of the GLBT Activist , Nation Wide most GLBT Leaders Have Already signed on to the Edwards Campaign, While Many in Florida are still undecided, If I were Hillary's Team,and wanted to Demonstrate that I wanted Florida's GLBT support I would not have Snubbed 65 of some of the strongest GLBT leaders in Florida.
