(Video) Blair claims Iraq not in civil war

In an interview with NBC News, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said the violence in Iraq does not represent a civil war:

BLAIR: When people talk about Iraq being a civil war -- it's not a civil war.  The Sunnis and the Shias and the Kurds basically want to live together, and the minorities of them don't.  But basically they do.

Prime Minister Tony Blair's assertion can be contrasted with the assessment of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, retired General William Nash, retired General Barry McCaffrey, and a whole list of other retired officials -- all of which have stated publicly that Iraq is in the middle of a civil war.
