Reid becomes latest to poke fun at current GOP presidential field
This comes from the Senate Majority Leader, who spoke at the Center for American Progress today. When asked about 2008, he about the interesting variety of candidates in the Republican presidential field:
I’ve learned one thing in listening to all the debates and readingabout all these people running for office, and the one fact I’velearned, I can’t get out of my mind, is that Rudy Giuliani has beenmarried more times than Mitt Romney’s been hunting. …â€
And his point is not off-base. One in three Republican voters are with the list of Republican candidates already in the race. The remedy? In marches Fred Thompson. According to a new AP/Ipsos poll, are leaning in his direction, even though the former Tennessee Senator has yet to officially announce his presidential bid. And maybe most important, Fred Thompson has more than any GOP candidate other than Ron Paul.
Forget Rudy McRomney. Once Thompson officially gets in, he will be the GOP front-runner.
Of course, it will be pretty easy to smash him up, just like it's been pretty easy for the Ron Paul ZERG to take down Rudy McRomney. The simple fact is, Americans don't like their message. They do like Ron Paul's. That's it. The message sells itself. Democrats have noticeably started to attack in the blogosphere; only a matter of time for the TV ads.

Perhaps not so easy: the taking down of Fred Thompson. He could be very appealing to the really conservative.
Ron Paul is the only R. candidate he has to worry about. And his personal appeal may carry him some distance on that one.
And he's already shown us he has a good ad man.(anti Michael Moore ad - which had patronizing tone, and images, that conservatives find very appealing) I'm going to wait and see on that one.
But while I wait I'm going to enjoy watching him make mince meat out of Rudy.

I hope Rudy explodes and goes out in a memorable flaming ball.
I hope Fred doesn't get nominated. He's pro-war.

Harry Reid couldnt be more useless. Can anyone name one thing he's done ever? Please. lie to me. Anything.
Here's what I"ve learned in the debates:
Huckabee constantly tries to use his religious beliefs to make voters feel comfortable. No thank you.
Giuliani would be a third term for Bush. There is no difference among them: scared white men.
Tancredo is nothing more than a racist.
Brownback is a clown.

lol Well, Harry Reid invoked Rule 21 and shut down the Senate under GOP rule in 2005:

But you're right, he's not the most forceful Democrat out there. The party would be served a lot better if someone like Feingold was in charge.
And George, what you said about Giuliani is right! I actually hope he gets the GOP nomination. If it was Obama vs Giuliani, it would be Hope vs Fear. Who do you think the American people would choose? I sure do.

i fear the American people would choose fear. I hope they will choose hope. I know they will choose fear.

Yeah Feingold! Is Mitt trying to play sportsman like Kerry did when he was running? We all at the 1911 forum(gun talk) got a kick out of Kerry's photo ops with a rifle/shotgun I forget. His finger was on the trigger when it wasn't supposed to be. He didn't keep his muzzle pointed down range and he had no eye or ear protection on I forget which. If there were a range master he would have beat him about the head for all the safety violations.
That goes for our fearless hunter Cheney. Safety on till ready to fire, finger off the trigger till your on target and be sure of your target when you fire....mmmm.
Have a good and unintentional discharge free day:)
Ps, As far as the new set up for the web page is concerned it seems that everything is on the left......Bang!
Sig:)
