US death toll in Iraq reaches 3,500
A roadside bomb in Baghdad killed a U.S. soldier, the military announced today, bringing the total number of U.S. deaths in Iraq over the mark. Unfortunately, one day earlier, the British death toll also reached a sad milestone -- . And on Friday morning, 14 civilians were and 30 were wounded in Basra.
