45% of all foreign terrorists in Iraq are Saudi

Adding a whole new meaning to the phrase, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," Saudi Arabia, a long-time recipient of US taxpayer subsidies, has produced many of the killers that are attacking our troops:

Nearly halfof the 135 foreigners in US detention facilities in Iraq are Saudis, the paperquoted a senior US military officer assaying.

The paper said thatthis has left the US military in the awkward position of "battling an enemywhose top source of foreign fighters is a key ally that at best has not beenable to prevent its citizens from undertaking bloody attacks in Iraq, and sharescomplicity in sending extremists to commit attacks against US forces, Iraqicivilians and the Shia-led government in Baghdad".

Fifty per cent of all Saudifighters in Iraq come as suicidebombers.

It makes you really think twice about the billions of dollars in arms that we have given to Saudi Arabia since 1990.
