As we head into a fresh news week, here are some of the political clips making their rounds on the blogs tonight:

  1. John Harwood of the Wall Street Journal compares Hillary's cleavage to Barry Bonds' steroid scandal.
  2. Gingrich says Gonzales a liability for America.
  3. Gingrich says Democrats "committed to defeat."  (And let's look at who is committed to staying the course.)
  4. GOP candidates snubbing the Youtube debate.

More clips later today and tomorrow.

Gingrich says Democrats "committed to defeat."

This is the same man that gave a speech awhile back over how he would suspend free speech in America?

So Newt thinks Dems told the world America will abandon their allies? Newt, Newt, Didn't Newt abandon his fellow Americans serving in Vietnam. I mean he did not want to serve with his fellow Americans in Vietnam, and let everyone else fight and die without him.

Also, if Newt meant any of his "for the Iraqi people" Bush twist. Wouldn't Newt feel like doing something about Darfur?
Yet doesn't address darfur. Who would Newt like other people to kill for him?

Iraq is lost. Our mission cannot possibly succeed. We have been defeated. This is usually what happens to an army fighting a war in a foreign land.

So we can keep being defeated at the cost of $2 billion/week or we can leave and let whatever will occur, occur. It's cut our losses time in Iraq. Terrorists will not follow us home. They know where we live anyway.

It's just like in hold 'em when you end up on the River with a pair of threes and a seven high. You fold.
