As I post each morning, here are some of the political stories thatmight not be worthy of their own posts, but are nonetheless newsworthy:
- Lady Bird Johnson, wife of President Lyndon Johnson, at age 94.
- President Bush has nominated as the new US Ambassador to Libya.

- House Minority Leader John Boehner lost his temper during a conference with Republican lawmakers. Boehner called anti-surge Republicans "," in response to the growing from seven out of every ten Americans to end the Iraq war.
- The House of Representatives passed legislation that for needy young adults that want to attend college. It also reduces federal subsidies for the lending industry.
