Obama brings in $32.5 million in second quarter
For the second quarter in a row, Barack Obama out-raised Hillary Clinton. The overall totals are significant, but even more so is the information about the donors themselves.
Here is the raw data:
- Barack Obama out-raised Hillary Clinton to $27 million in the second quarter. Obama's total is a fundraising record.
- Obama added -- 258,000 total, a new primary record.
- The money came from mostly small donors. The average donor contributed roughly $211, which is extremely low for a presidential campaign.
It's also crucial to note again that Obama has taken no donations from any political action committee. This is wonderful and everyone should realize it's importance. It means that he is owned by no one other than the voters who elect him.
Do we know how many individual contributors Clinton has?

That's no cash from even one PAC (i.e. Moveon.org), or any Federal Lobby (i.e. Big Oil, Tobacco, etc). He is owned only by those who cast their votes in his favor.
This is not true about Hillary Clinton, Rudy Guiliani nor Mitt Romney. Obama is the real deal. Few can change the system from within. It is looking like he has a chance.

Yeah, Obama really showed his reach. At the same time, Obama does not want the frontrunner status at the moment. He wants to brand Hillary as the incumbent, and go at her that way.
LOL You're definitely right about Romney. Also, I mean honestly...who puts a dog kennel on the top of the car? http://time-blog.com/swampland/2007/06/romney_in_deep_doodoo.html
