A few television notes

Thanks everyone for helping make this typically light Friday the most visited day of August here at The Blue State.

Also, if you have HBO, don't forget to watch the season premiere of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight at 11 PM ET/PT.  I am promoting this show under my own power.  Back in 2001, Maher was branded a left-wing radical and kicked off his ABC News show for not following in lock-step with the mainstream media after 9/11.  After all we have seen go on these last six years, his views are definitely mainstream today, because he has been right about almost everything that has happened.

Lastly, on Sunday don't miss Keith Olbermann as he makes his network debut on NBC.  A special episode of Countdown with Keith Olbermann will be shown live at 7 PM ET on NBC television.  Finally a progressive voice on network television!
