As I post each morning, here are some of the political stories thatmight not be worthy of their own posts, but are nonetheless newsworthy:
- Congressman Tom Davis (R-VA) believes President Bush will "" the report General Petraeus reads to Congress in September.

- Keith Olbermann will make his on NBC this Sunday. He will host a special episode of Countdown with Keith Olbermann on NBC at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, and then join Bob Costas and the rest of the football crew before the Eagles-Steelers NFL exhibition game.
- Democrat Bob Kerrey is for the Nebraska Senate seat in 2008 if Republican Chuck Hagel retires.
- MTV and Myspace are teaming together to hold a series of "" between young voters and each of the presidential candidates in both parties.
- Bill Richardson is , following John Edwards' decision last week to pull his staff out of the state. Richardson was in Las Vegas on Thursday campaigning for the Hispanic vote. (It was 105 degrees there yesterday. Now that is called earning every vote!)
- Iowa Democrats (): Edwards - 23%, Obama - 22%, Clinton - 21%, Richardson - 14%, Biden - 5%. (Thinks are tightening up!)
