Obama shined in ABC debate

As many of you know, the Democratic debate was earlier today.  I will find as many video excerpts as I can and post them tonight in the Nightowl Clips. 

Already though, the mainstream media seems to believe Obama won the debate.  Time Magazine's Mark Halperin gives Obama an "A" grade:

His best debate performance so far. Stood up to sustained questioningon his alleged inexperience, which led the first seven minutes of theevent, without losing his cool or backing down. He even made awell-received joke about preparing for the debate by riding the bumpercars at the Iowa State Fair. Tripled down on standing up for his recentcontroversial foreign policy statements on nuclear weapons, meetingwith foreign leaders, and hunting al Qaeda, with firmness and goodhumor. Drew audience applause for again playing theI-opposed-the-Iraq-War card to tout his judgment. Sounded almost (Bill)Clintonesque in talking about trade and merit pay for teachers.Displayed the confidence of a leader.

Even more surprising was that John Edwards defended Barack Obama for his comments about Pakistan.  Is there an Obama-Edwards alliance?:

But the last thing I want to say about this is it's not shockingthat -- first of all, I think Senator Obama is entitled to express hisview.  And it's not shocking that people who have been in Washington along time criticize him when he comes along and expresses his view.
