As I post each morning, here are some of the political stories thatmight not be worthy of their own posts, but are nonetheless newsworthy:

• (CORRUPTION) There is a warrant for the arrest of Larry Craig's daughter.  In 2006, she was charged with "unlawful entry."
• (TERRORISM) Here is the transcript of the Osama bin Laden video.
• (IRAQ) During his visit to Australia, President Bush reportedly told Australia's Deputy Prime Minister that "we're kicking ass in Iraq."
• (IRAQ) There will be no Petraeus report.  General David Petraeus will only read an opening statement.
• (IRAQ) Seven US soldiers died on Friday in two separate attacks.
• (BUSH CRONIES) Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld will join Stanford University's Hoover Institution as a visiting fellow.
• (IRAQ) Chemical Ali will hang on Saturday.  Chemical Ali is Saddam's cousin.
• (FOREIGN POLICY) Two-thirds of the people surveyed around the world want the US to leave Iraq.
• (SOCIAL SECURITY) President Bush's failed Social Security campaign cost US taxpayers $2.8 million.
• (2008 ELECTION) Barack Obama's campaign emailed supporters and reminded them that the polls today don't mean a thing: "In mid-September 2003, national polls showed Joe Lieberman to be thefrontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination. Then John Kerrywon the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary, and the shift inmomentum carried him to a decisive victory.  The lesson: early polls don't mean a thing and success in crucial early-state contests will win the Democratic nomination."
• (2008 Election) Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) will decide on Monday whether to run for president, run for Senate reelection or retire.
