Poll: 89% of Iraqis say situation better under Saddam

So much for the $470 billion and 3,752 lives that were spent on this war.  Four years later, 89% of Iraqis say it was not worth it:

About 90 percent of Iraqis feel that the situation in the country wasbetter ahead of the US-led invasion than it is today, according to apoll conducted by the Iraq Centre for Research and Strategic Studies(ICRSS).

Only five percent of those questioned said Iraq is bettertoday than in 2003. While 89 percent of the people said the politicalsituation had deteriorated, 79 percent saw a decline in the economicsituation; 12 percent felt things had improved and nine percent saidthere was no change. Predictably, 95 percent felt the securitysituation was worse than before.

But who cares what the Iraqis think.  Right?  After all, it's only their country.

And Iraqi opinion isn't getting warmer, especially after the controversial air-strike in Iraq on Thursday that killed 14 sleeping civilians.
