Blue Nightowl Clips

As we post in the middle of each night, here are some of the most popular political clips circulating on the blogs tonight:

  1. Ron Paul interview with Wolf Blitzer.  Ron Paul raised $5.1 million in third quarter.
  2. White House briefing on Thursday.  Press Secretary Dana Perino thinks America is following the Geneva Conventions, and the definition that Bush is following is very clear.
  3. House Oversight Committee investigates fraud on the part of the Iraqi government.  What a terrible investment!
  4. John Edwards once again admits he was wrong on Iraq.  Well OK, then how come he still can't get it right and ask for ALL the troops to come home?

More clips on Friday.  The Blue radar, with all of the Friday morning political headlines, will be posted just after 4 AM ET.  Good luck on the last day of the work week!

Fraud in the Iraqi government!

You'd have to laugh, if it weren't for the weeping.

4. John Edwards once again admits he was wrong on Iraq. Well OK, then how come he still can't get it right and ask for ALL the troops to come home?

I left this comment on youtube:

You just told the room:

"The thing that you can do...that people in other parts of the country will never get a chance to do...you get to see us in person"...
"You get to judge whether we're trustworthy"

First of all, we (the "others") don't really need to see you in person (and some may even take offense to that statement). And why would we have to see you to judge if you're trustworthy? I just think those were odd statements (especially when it's posted on youtube) we like you over at thebluestate.com, we haven't made our decision who we'll support yet (the time is close though)

That speech came across to me like a teacher telling a class "you're my favorite class". Maybe he didn't think many people were going to view it, and judging from the views on his other vids, I can understand that. The vids with a lot of views are the ones that were shown on the news.

from the clips;

Its ashame Ron Paul doesn't see a use for say, The FDA regulating harmful contaminanted foods. I guess he can afford one of those old royal food testers that taste the food and see if they die. Sort of like the human canary in the coal mine adage.

Mrs Perino just confuses herself more and more like Tony Snow did. It shows she is coming of age as she adds that self proclaimed arrogance of her position that most reporters try to ignore and work around.
