Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are angry. “Based on an initial review of his response to the letter, I remainvery concerned that Judge Mukasey finds himself unable to stateunequivocally that waterboarding is illegal and below the standards andvalues of the United States,†Senator Pat Leahy (D-VT) said.
