Bush Administration edited CDC report on climate change

This week, the Centers for Disease Control testified to a Senate committee on how the effects of climate change impact health.  According to the New York Times, the White House edited the testimony.

This is not the first time the White House has edited government reports on climate change.  A similar incident occurred in 2005:

White House Staffer Resigns Two Days After Revelation He Edited Climate Change Documents

Philip Cooney, a former oil industry lobbyist who edited scientific language in government climate change reports, resigned Friday, just two days after the NY Times revealed  his blue pencil work.

And just last year, a NASA scientist was censored as well.

Oil companies still control policy, and will do anything to keep us from becoming energy independent, even if that means censoring scientific fact.
