Tuesday's political coverage
On Tuesday we will ramp up our coverage once again -- both during the Democratic debate and the Michigan Republican Primary. This debate is absolutely huge for Barack Obama, who absolutely needs to step it up a notch and cripple what has obviously been a momentum boost for Hillary Clinton ever since the New Hampshire primary. Coverage starts at 6 PM ET. We will also have updates throughout the day -- including the Blue Nightowl Clips, Blue Radar and other stories throughout the political world.
I hope this is not to off topic. It does concern the primaries.
The GOP has been sending out mailers and certain individuals. Of, course on their own accords they say.
It is how they been refering to Obama.
The GOP or republican faithful are addressing Obama's connection to the Muslim religion.
IIt is my strong opinion that they use the term "Muslim" at Obama instead of "black or Afro-American". It is like a code word. Many GOP'ers think you must be Black to be Muslim. A farce you and I might agree. But for the GOP puritans it seems that naming Obama a "muslim" is like calling him a "Negro" and this appeals to those racially prejudiced likely voters without using the "N" word.
Someone tell me I am wrong?

You're not. It's thinly-veiled hate speech. I'd expect nothing less.

It is like this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=BcW9Q9HM9Ds
He says "mahslim" with so much hate. Not foaming at the mouth hate, but guilty pleasure hate.

Thanks for "confirming" my fears.
There are those racists that when the word "Muslim" is spoken, they seem to hear "Negro".
And that becomes their reason to talk bad of Obama and decry how they can't vote for a Muslim for President. Otherwise without this code word to stand racially biased could not openly survive public confrontations.
I am seeing this with a few of my fellow workers.
And it is said that the Midwest is the "heartland" of America. The racial undertoned heartland of America perhaps.
