Why the endorsements are coming in now

Quick answer: because John Edwards dropped out of the race.  Many progressive organizations, like MoveOn.org, had their membership divided between Obama and Edwards.  Now that Edwards is out, the floodgates have opened.  I only wish there was more time between now and Super Tuesday.  Unfortunately, Obama's supporters have so little time to make their case, now that the major political voices are consolidated behind him.

If between now and Tuesday Barack Obama can push hard to expose himself to rank-in-file Democratic voters -- most of which are fond of the Clintons -- then he will be fine.
