Blue Nightowl Clips

Here we go with the top political clips making their rounds on the blogs tonight:

  1. Barack Obama on CNN following Mississippi victory.  Why didn't he deliver a big speech?
  2. Ferraro to Obama: Don't antagonize me.
  3. Pelosi comments on President's veto of a bill that bans torture.
  4. Cheney's speech at Heritage Foundation regarding Missile Defense.

More clips tomorrow.

I dont know why he didn't give a speech. clinton would have thrown a parade with confetti had she won last nite. But i guess that speaks to the class and perspective that Obama has.

Sometimes it's maddening that he doesnt rip apart his critics. He has some thick skin. Nothing seems to affect the guy.

He was also on MSNBC. Maybe he did it to break away from the monotony of always giving speeches. In the past, he has been accused of being boxed in as doing one specific thing or another, such as "all talk no action". By presenting himself as not only someone who says nice things but someone who is willing to answer tough questions when politics has its highest ratings (right after an election), he might be defining himself as more of a multi-dimensional person.

I think that the change slogan is nice, but his speeches do start to sound a lot alike, and he still has over 7 months until the general election. He needs to keep himself fresh before other people start saying he isn't.

Has anyone found any links between Hillary, Barack or John and Skull-and-Bones yet? I don't want another "two members of a secret society fighting it out on the world-stage" battle.
