Clinton is reckless when it comes to Iran
This from Hillary Clinton earlier this week was overlooked:
"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attackIran (if it attacks Israel)," Clinton said in an interview on ABC's"Good Morning America."
"In the next 10 years, during whichthey might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we wouldbe able to totally obliterate them," she said.
"That's aterrible thing to say but those people who run Iran need to understandthat because that perhaps will deter them from doing something thatwould be reckless, foolish and tragic," Clinton said.
Reckless, irresponsible, naive, undiplomatic and absolutely reactionary. Might as well call her Hillary Cheney. She is unfit to ever be commander-in-chief.
Todd, how else would the underdog in the primary challenges - with nothing left to lose - pander to the Jewish-American vote while simultaniously casting herself as tough on US security/terrorism to try and prove she can beat McCain? Yes, I'm being coy. But, we know her strategy is going for the "win", with the thought that no one will remember or care about these words after she's elected. Good catch on her reactionary statements.

'We Would Be Able to Totally Obliterate Them'.
This talking about nuclear bombing by Mrs. Clinton reflects a desperate attempt to collect some more votes. Iran does not have any nuclear bomb. Israel has nuclear bomb.
Mrs. Clinton statement is an exaggerated response to something that will never happen? Israel and Iran should both cool it down, their threats only feeds their local politics. But why are we not talking about our own national problems, among them: education, employment, health insurance, roads, and our national banking problems.
I think Saudi-based daily Arab News summarized the reaction of many Americans to Mrs. Clinton response:
“This is the foreign politics of the madhouse. It demonstrates the same doltish ignorance that has distinguished Bush’s foreign relations. It offers only violence where there should be negotiations and war where there could be peace. At a stroke, Clinton demonstrated to everyone in this region that if she were the next occupant of the White House, Iraq-like death and destruction would be the order of the day.â€
Mrs. Clinton's statement is just a political foolishness. Is she politically mature to assume the presidency of the United States?

I think all of us here know the kind of person Mrs. Clinton is, if only we could get the message to her supporters, that would shorten this primary season immediately.
