This race should end in two weeks
If Democratic leaders were smart and understood the damage that Hillary Clinton's candidacy is inflicting among Democratic voters, they would hype up the May 6th contests in North Carolina and Indiana as a do-or-die event for her. This thing needs to end fast. According to NBC , Hillary Clinton's candidacy is hurting her own party:
One-quarter of Clinton voters would back Mr. McCain while 19 percentsaid they would stay home in November entirely." Of Obama supporters,"67 percent said they would support Mrs. Clinton if she earns the partynod, 17 percent would back the Republican senator and 12 percent wouldnot vote."
This number is up significantly from Ohio, when more voters were open to supporting the other candidate. In other words, the Democrats would be smart to end this thing fast. They have two options for May 6th:
- The more drastic option includes encouraging super delegates to support whoever wins more delegates on May 6th.
- Or, the party hierarchy could say that if someone sweeps the May 6th contests then that candidate gets the super delegate support.
I'd go with the second option because it is more practical. If Obama wins both Indiana and North Carolina, Dean, Pelosi and Reid need to convince super delegates to make up their mind one way or another.
Some pundit's ask disingenuously, Why Can't Barack Close the Deal? The TRUTH OF THE MATTER, is that Barack is fighting TWO opponents, Clinton & the Republican Machine: Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, Wolf Blitzer, Fox News and they fight a lot dirtier, louder, harder than "light"! They fight with lies, distortions, brain wash and money. Barack is doing something new and necessary, though slower because a loud voice gets a lot more attention than a sane, compassionate, low-speaking one, like Barack's. That is why he is having such a hard time. Look at the unevenness and unfairness of the last debate? The new Republican's and Clinton's talking point is why cannot Barack put it away. The answer is he is fighting a three-headed Giant, the Clintons and the Republican Machine -- it is a Giant compared to Barack and the assault goes on 24/7 starting with Morning Joe and continuing all day with Fox News! Then there are the new swift-boat TV adds and false emails, he is being blanketed with -- and then they smile to themselves and ask smugly, "Why can't he put her away? Knowing the dark answer to this question and the dark seed they hope to plant into the minds of the people who are unable to think for themselves and are influenced by fear and ignorance. But humanity's heart is opening to the light and the energy of goodwill. May be this time, we can overcome these awful forces of destruction to mankind, may be this time.
In Michael Moore's endorsement of Obama, he states "I want to say a word about the basic decency I have seen in Mr. Obama. Mrs. Clinton continues to throw the Rev. Wright up in his face as part of her mission to keep stoking the fears of White America. Every time she does this I shout at the TV, "Say it, Obama! Say that when she and her husband were having marital difficulties regarding Monica Lewinsky, who did she and Bill bring to the White House for 'spiritual counseling?' THE REVEREND JEREMIAH WRIGHT!" But no, Obama won't throw that at her. It wouldn't be right. It wouldn't be decent. She's been through enough hurt. And so he remains silent and takes the mud she throws in his face. That's why the crowds who come to see him are so large. That's why he'll take us down a more decent path. That's why I would vote for him if Michigan were allowed to have an election."

If whoever leads in delegates after May 6th that will be our nominee period end of story.Ther is no way Sen. Clinton can win anyway without changing the rules and her campaign knows it.
Why is she doing this anyway? It is well known in hushed circles that She and the Elite don't want a
African- American president that's the bottom line.
That is the truth the MSM can slice it and dice anyway they want but America sees it for what it is .Look at the exit polls. It is a damn shame.America will never recover if Baracks nomination is overturned. We as a country are in deep trouble and Hillary is deviding us again look out '68 you ain't seen nothing yet.I predict there will be blood in the streets if this continues.

Gary, do you think she doesn't want an African-American president or maybe she's just had her sights on being the president herself for decades? I don't believe her angle is a racial one, it's more of a goal she's had for a long time and Obama is just the person in her way right now. Let's not make this a racial issue.
